This is my second year helping and walking with our team. I pulled the late shift last time, but never felt tired! My role again this year is helping with the Pasta Feed. In addition to turning my house into a restaurant, I helped get everything set-up, made the meatballs and sauce, and was on the clean-up crew (my specialty).
My inspiration for doing this is for my goddaughter Tina and late sister-in-law Mary. I have been blessed to be a part of this family for the last 36 years when I married Annette. My in-laws treated me as their son, making me feel so welcome and loved. My relationship with Carmen and Mary was very special. We were like brothers and sisters, raised our kids together, went on vacations to Lake Tahoe, and even owned a bar together. We have created many fond memories that I will treasure forever.
I enjoy spending time with my 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, traveling with my wife Annette, cycling and car racing.
